About The Role

As an IT Specialist at Sensi.AI, you will own all on-site IT operations for our U.S. office in Austin. This is a hands-on role where you’ll ensure smooth daily operations, from hardware setup and user support to network troubleshooting and system reliability. By keeping our infrastructure secure, efficient, and aligned with global standards, you’ll enable our teams to stay productive and focused on growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on IT support for the Austin site, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and quick resolution of technical issues.
  • Set up and configure hardware and workstations for new employees, including computers, peripherals, and meeting room equipment.
  • Manage and maintain IT inventory (laptops, monitors, accessories) and coordinate with vendors for procurement and repairs.
  • Support network and connectivity (Wi-Fi, VPN, video conferencing tools) to ensure reliable access for local and remote teams.
  • Administer user accounts and permissions across company systems and platforms, following security and compliance standards.
  • Automate IT processes and workflows where possible, to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Act as the primary IT point of contact for the U.S. office, while aligning with global IT practices and standards.

Requirements:

  • IT Support & Experience: You have at least 4 years of hands-on IT support experience in fast-paced environments, with a proven track record of troubleshooting, maintaining end-user systems, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Apple & Device Management: You are highly proficient in managing Mac environments and device management platforms (Jamf or similar), ensuring secure and reliable setup and maintenance of user devices.
  • Identity & Collaboration Tools: You have practical experience with identity and access management solutions (Okta) as well as productivity platforms (Google Workspace), supporting secure and efficient workflows across teams.
  • Networking & Security: You are comfortable configuring and maintaining WiFi networks and enterprise-grade infrastructure, including firewalls (Fortigate), switches/APs (Aruba), and related systems.
  • Systems Monitoring & Management: You are familiar with tools such as SWM (or similar) for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing IT assets and infrastructure.
  • Operational Excellence & Service Orientation: You bring strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a service-oriented mindset — enabling you to resolve issues efficiently, document processes clearly, and collaborate effectively across the organization.
