About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Data Scientist to join our Business Technology department. In this full-time, remote position based in the United States, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing our marketing funnel, measuring campaign effectiveness, and supporting pipeline management initiatives. Your insights will directly influence strategic decisions, helping us improve lead conversion rates and overall marketing performance. Collaborating closely with Marketing, Growth, Sales, and Finance teams, you will leverage your analytical expertise to explore data, conduct in-depth analyses, and generate actionable recommendations. Your work will ensure that our marketing efforts are data-driven, efficient, and aligned with our company's growth objectives.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Science supporting marketing functions, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Proficiency in SQL with at least 3 years of hands-on experience
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with marketing attribution models across multiple channels (SEO, Paid Search, Social, etc.)
  • Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks and methodologies
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, engineering, statistics, or economics; advanced degrees preferred
  • Understanding of customer journey metrics including ROI, CLTV, and funnel conversion metrics

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-impact opportunities through comprehensive data exploration and analysis
  • Generate strategic insights by collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve top-of-funnel conversion metrics
  • Define and develop marketing metrics to measure success and build scalable reporting systems to monitor pipeline health
  • Analyze drivers of key performance indicators and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate the impact of product features and marketing campaigns, guiding iterative improvements
  • Deepen understanding of customer journey phases, from awareness to conversion, and optimize accordingly
  • Collaborate with data scientists and other stakeholders to share best practices and promote a data-centric decision-making culture
  • Support the development of attribution models and advanced analytical techniques to measure marketing effectiveness
