Client Operations Manager (Growth Marketing)

Location: Remote (U.S. time zones preferred) • Team: Client Success & Operations • Type: Full-time

We’re hiring a Client Operations Manager to own client outcomes end-to-end: translate requirements into plans, coordinate cross-functional execution, and deliver peak ROI across channels while growing the LSS footprint within each account. Expect a fast clip, bold experiments, and constant optimization.


What you’ll do (outcomes over outputs)

  • Own the client plan: turn goals into quarterly roadmaps, weekly sprints, and clear channel hypotheses (SEO, PPC, paid social, email/SMS, affiliates, CRO, content). Prioritize impact and speed.
  • Ship campaigns and learn fast: launch, A/Z test, and scale what works; pause what doesn’t. Drive late-funnel performance and top-/mid-funnel momentum with a performance branding mindset.
  • Coordinate the squad: orchestrate specialists (media, SEO, content, design, dev/engineering) and keep everyone unblocked with crisp briefs, timelines, and QA.
  • Make ROI visible: build dashboards, track real-time KPIs, and convert data into decisions—deliver weekly reporting clients actually use.
  • Improve the stack: design/refine lead flows, marketing automation, CRM/CDP hygiene, and analytics governance so campaigns scale predictably.
  • Level up digital properties: audit sites/landing pages, fix friction, brief engineering with clear technical specs, and partner on schema/CRO to raise conversion rates.
  • Grow the account: spot expansion opportunities (new geos, segments, offers, channels), craft business cases, and land incremental scope with provable ROI.
  • Be omnichannel: connect email, social, paid, content, and web into a unified experience—and show the lift vs. single-channel efforts.


Your first 90 days (how we’ll measure success)

  • 30 days: Operational baseline set (dashboards live, cadences running), prioritized quarterly plan approved.
  • 60 days: 2–3 experiments per channel/week; at least one scalable win in two channels.
  • 90 days: Demonstrable ROI lift (lower CAC, higher CVR, improved LTV/CAC) and a documented account growth plan.


What you’ve shipped before (must-haves)

  • 3–5+ years in growth/digital marketing with deep expertise in at least three channels (e.g., PPC, SEO, Paid Social, Email/SMS, Affiliate, CRO).
  • Strong analytics chops (attribution, cohort/segmentation, funnel diagnostics) and fluency in dashboards/reporting.
  • Proven project/program management across multi-disciplinary teams; you hit dates without losing creativity.
  • Experience designing/operating scalable marketing processes (automation, lead routing, KPI governance).
  • Comfort working with engineers/designers—can write clear technical briefs/specs and QA releases.


Bonus points

  • Hands-on with AI-assisted marketing (copy testing, bidding, audience discovery) and experiment design.
  • Sector familiarity in logistics, healthcare, SaaS, or eCommerce.
  • CRM/CDP administration (HubSpot, GA4/Looker, Segment, Iterable/Braze, Meta/Google Ads, LinkedIn).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing/IT/Analytics or related).
  • 3–5 years technical/marketing experience with data analysis, reporting, and insights; proficiency with spreadsheets/BI.
  • Understanding of PPC, SEO, Display, Email, SMS, Affiliate, CRM, CDP and adjacent martech (able to learn and execute new channels with coaching).
