Help shape the future of mobile ordering at Starbucks. We’re looking for a strategic product leader to guide our Menu & Customization team and elevate the ordering experience from menu discovery to seamless reordering in the Starbucks mobile app and Starbucks.com. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how millions of customers interact with Starbucks, making it easier and more delightful to be a customer. In this role, you’ll lead a team of product managers focused on helping customers discover, personalize, and reorder their perfect product, while driving innovation in product merchandising and personalization. You’ll thrive if you are energized by complexity, confident in ambiguity, and passionate about building intuitive, data-informed experiences that scale.

As a group product manager leading the Menu & Customization portfolio, you will:

  • Set the strategy and objectives for the product portfolio to deliver key user and business outcomes
  • Drive stakeholder and executive alignment to portfolio direction and priorities
  • Oversee product discovery process for portfolio including ideation, opportunity assessment & business casing
  • Leverage customer insights, behavioral data, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and inform product direction
  • Optimize the customer journey, using behavioral data and personalization algorithms
  • Oversee development and execution of product roadmaps within the portfolio while managing tradeoffs within and across roadmaps
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and marketing teams to build seamless, dynamic, and scalable experiences
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and a culture of progress, transparency and efficiency to drive successful product launches
  • Lead a high-performing team of product managers elevating your collective team performance through insightful, motivating, and constructive feedback
  • Continuously evolve product management practice for the enterprise
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and growth-oriented team culture

We’d Love To Hear From People With

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 8+ years progressive responsibility in Digital Product Management
  • Experience in mobile app product strategy in e-commerce, QSR, or retail
  • Familiarity with recommendation systems, personalization engines, and merchandising tools
  • Proven success in optimizing conversion and retention through product-led growth strategies
  • Experience leading large cross-functional teams and navigating conversations with senior leaders
  • Expert at working in the agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)
  • Experience with customer research design and experiment design and A/B testing

  • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
