Our client is a global e-commerce platform that connects buyers and sellers to exchange goods across various categories.

About the team

The SEEK team runs ***’s in-house feedback survey platform that is used by product teams across the org to understand the pain points and frustrations of users as they use the site and apps, and to measure satisfaction with design changes. The SEEK team is part of the UX Research team, which oversees methodology and guides the development of new reporting capabilities.

About the role

We are in search of a data scientist with analytics, quantitative survey, and behavioral measurement expertise.

• Must have experience working at a large website with CX or Feedback surveys as well as behavioral or log data.
• Must be able to work directly with large volumes of data using SQL and Python and/or R. ML and AI experience is a plus.
• Tableau expertise is a plus. Functional Tableau usage is required.

The primary responsibility while in this role will be to work with the SEEK survey team and *** analytics to validate which survey metrics are predictive of future behavior, and create dashboards that combine metrics and track them over time, proving their predictive abilities.

• You are expected to be familiar with standard metrics like CSAT, PSAT, and CES. Experience with JTBD or Arousal/Valence scoring is a plus.
• Relevant quantitative PhD or Masters is preferred.
• Experience with a large company doing similar work is required.
• Must demonstrate all core competencies listed above.
• Must be able to eloquently explain your opinion on what metrics would be useful for *** to track, and why.
