About the Role


We’re seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented TikTok & Social Media Assistant to join our growing team at Shoebacca. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our short-form content strategy, creating engaging, trend-driven videos that bring our brand to life on TikTok and beyond.


Your primary focus will be all things TikTok with an emphasis in content creation, promotions on TikTok, affiliate initiatives, live selling efforts, and eventually content for Instagram and Facebook. Key Responsibilities


  • Script, film, edit, and publish engaging TikTok videos daily aligned with product assortment goals
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to drive reach, engagement, and sales. This includes looking at our own performance as well as the competitive landscape.
  • Identify and adapt emerging TikTok trends for Shoebacca’s audience.
  • Support additional platforms (Instagram and Facebook) as the role expands.
  • Assist with product uploads and sales setup.
  • Maintain an organized content pipeline and posting schedule.
  • Help track and report on performance, trends, and creative opportunities.
  • Coordinate influencer and affiliate content when applicable.
  • Provide direct support to the TikTok & Social Media Sales Manager.
  • Manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Streamline operations through social-related administrative tasks.
  • (Occasional travel may be required, though not expected to be frequent.)


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience creating TikTok content for a brand, creator, or personal channel with proven results.
  • Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar design/video editing tools.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok algorithms, trends, and short-form content culture.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset.
