TikTok & Instagram Social Media Manager Intern, Narcissus Beauty, NY, US

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical TikTok/Instagram Social Media Intern to support our digital marketing team.

This 6-month unpaid internship is ideal for someone passionate about beauty and social media who also has an eye for data and strategy.

You’ll work closely with our founder and cross-functional teams to ensure our social channels are engaging, data-driven, and aligned with brand goals.

THIS IS NOT A CONTENT CREATOR POSITION. IT IS SCHEDULING, ANALYTICS AND COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media content calendars for TikTok and Instagram
• Monitor and analyze post performance and audience engagement metrics
• Track trends and competitor strategies in the beauty and lifestyle space
• Manage community engagement: respond to comments, DMs, and tag relevant creators/fans
• Coordinate with content creators to ensure timely and on-brand posts
• Suggest optimizations for content timing, hashtags, and ad targeting
• Assist in influencer campaign tracking and performance reporting

You’ll Gain Experience In:

• Real-time performance analysis and reporting using tools like Instagram Insights and TikTok Analytics
• Developing and presenting strategic social media plans

• Passion for beauty, culture, and digital storytelling
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Familiarity with TikTok trends and Instagram best practices
• Comfortable using or learning tools like Later, Canva, Meta Suite, and Google Sheets
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and excited to grow in the beauty and social media marketing space
