About Our Agency:
South Carolina ETV (SCETV) is the state's public educational broadcasting network. Using television, radio and the web, SCETV's mission is to enrich lives by educating children, informing and connecting citizens, celebrating our culture and environment and instilling the joy of learning. SCETV provides national and local content to classrooms via internet services Knowitall.org and PBS Learning Media. SCETV also provides teacher training and re-certification in face-to-face and online settings.
Job Purpose
Under limited supervision, direct State House committee meetings are assigned. This includes operating remote cameras, switcher and audio board, and graphics. Represent SCETV in the most professional manner.
Job Duties
Live directing of the SC State House committee meetings. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
High School Diploma.
Preferred Qualifications
Must be able to direct live TV under pressure and understand the state legislature.
Limited supervision. This position requires a dress code that follows the State House dress code. Some after-hour
work is required.

State Disaster Plan:

Applicants indicating college credit or degree(s) on the application are required to provide an official, certified copy of the transcript prior to hiring or within fifteen (15) days of hire. Failure to provide official transcripts may lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Driving Record:
If this position requires the applicant to possess a valid driver's license to operate a state vehicle or personal vehicle, any applicant being considered in the final stages of selection for the position will be required to provide a certified copy of a 10-year driving record.
