Summary:
Reporting to the University Registrar, the Operations Project Manager supports the Office of the University Registrar in planning and coordinating activities related to a major multi-year technology implementation and change management project. This role contributes to planning, process improvement, and the integration of new systems across key functional areas. The Project Manager also helps ensure uninterrupted delivery of core Registrar services throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Functions:
Participate in the strategic planning of the implementation and use of new technology and reporting tools to ensure the Office of the Registrar remains technologically current while continuing to improve its processes and services. Assist the Registrar and Associate Registrars in the areas of Catalog and Curriculum, Academic Scheduling, and assist the transfer credit articulation team with developing and documenting training materials.Liaises with multiple project leads and functional leads to support and provide guidance in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Applies strong leadership and management skills to assist in managing projects, setting priorities, and optimizing operational processes. Supports data auditing and cleanup initiatives and assists in configuring SIS.
Assist in ensuring all functions and services of the Registrar’s office (Degree Clearance, Record Services, Registration, Catalog, Curriculum, Transfer Articulations, Reporting, Academic Scheduling, and Policy and Compliance) continue uninterrupted.
Other duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time.
35 hours per week.
This a temporary full-time position that will be reviewed for continuation after 06/30/2027.
Continuation of the program/position is contingent upon external funding.
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $100,000 annually.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
2 - 5 years of required experience in a university registrar management position.
Strong working knowledge of university-wide ERP systems; specific knowledge in course management systems.
Proven record of successful experience in academic administration or student-oriented service environment.
Experience with registration and student records management.
Experience with policy and data integrity.
Experience with determining business requirements and coordinating resources across multiple departments.
Solid team leadership skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree.
Experience working with Colleague and Workday, or experience working with complex data systems.
4 - 6 years of relevant experience.
5 years of experience in a university registrar management position and membership in AACRAO.
Knowledge of student information system (Ellucian Colleague) preferred.
Familiarity with laws and regulations affecting academic institutions (FERPA, ADA, HEA, etc.) preferred.
