You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. You’ll manage the production of efficient designs for new development, network relocations and network upgrades, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly execute on network designs.

In this role, you'll:

  • Lead the team responsible for and oversee the process of design and engineering of the Fiber Network from preliminary design to construction.
  • Establish relationships with local third-parties and ensure efficient processes are in place, while providing engineering vendor selection, engagement and management to deliver within schedule, budget and scope.
  • Integrate innovations into the design and engineering practices and work.
  • Support finance metric development, reporting and dashboard reporting.
  • Manage production with various vendors to ensure they are following proper guidelines and standards.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of Program Management experience in the Telecommunications Industry.
  • 5 years of experience directly managing a team.
  • Experience managing capital and technical programs.
  • Ability to develop the process flow to accelerate Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) design with incredible value.

It's preferred if you have:

  • MBA or a graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field.
  • Demonstrated ability to employ good troubleshooting skills and creative problem solving abilities under pressure
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to obtain and use key data, and coordinate with the team to track as-built documentation.
  • Familiar with Colorado engineering standards and SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) Law
