Senior Copywriter, Oncology & Health

As a Senior Copywriter specializing in Oncology & Health, you’ll play a central role in shaping voice, messaging, and content for a leading client in human health. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams and clients to craft strategic, brand-aligned copy, while building strong relationships through clear communication and high-quality content delivery. This role gives you space to balance creativity, regulatory requirements, and timelines, all within a supportive environment that values your input and encourages professional growth.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development of copy and content with a focus on Human Health diagnostics, while also supporting other workstreams.
  • Translate complex clinical and scientific material into clear, consumer-friendly, and engaging copy across channels such as paid social, IVA scripts, websites, and sales collateral.
  • Own the full lifecycle of copy development—from ideation through delivery—including proofreading and revisions.
  • Contribute to strategy sessions with clients and internal teams, incorporating feedback to refine messaging.
  • Build subject matter expertise in therapeutic areas and diagnostic tools to tailor communication for specific audiences.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity of messaging across brand identities, platforms, and formats—including print, digital, social, web, and technical documentation—using industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and clients to deliver strategic, brand-consistent copy solutions.
  • Manage version control and maintain organized assets throughout the project lifecycle to ensure quality and efficiency.


What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of copywriting experience in healthcare, with a strong track record of turning complex, data-heavy content into compelling, audience-friendly messaging. Experience in oncology is preferred; exposure to diagnostics and precision medicine is a major plus.
  • Confidence in client-facing settings, with the ability to lead conversations and field questions effectively.
  • A creative problem-solver who thrives on making technical or scientific information engaging and accessible.
  • A commitment to excellence in both process and output, with exceptional attention to detail ensuring accuracy, consistency, and precision in every deliverable.
  • Proficiency in AMA and AP style, along with a deep understanding of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry best practices—including proper referencing and preparation for regulatory submission.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure, consistently delivering strategic, high-quality copy on brief and on time.
  • Critical thinking and storytelling skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively in slides, across Google Workspace, and directly to clients and internal teams.
  • A positive, collaborative, and self-motivated attitude, with adaptability to new challenges and a proactive approach to communication.
