We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Solutions professional to shape requirements for our Application Development team. This role supports the design, development, and implementation of major digital solutions that transform and optimize Supply Chain processes across the company. The individual will collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define requirements, reimagine manual processes, and deliver integrated application workflows that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive performance. This position offers the opportunity to shape the strategic digital direction of the Supply Chain organization by creating user-centric applications and leveraging agile practices for solution delivery. The ideal candidate will combine deep supply chain expertise with the ability to define innovative digital experiences that align technology solutions with business needs.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the application development team, translating complex supply chain processes into digital solutions
  • Prioritize the product backlog in alignment with strategic goals and customer needs
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, refine, and document business requirements
  • Reimagine and redesign manual or disjointed supply chain processes into seamless, integrated application workflows
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications that are clear, actionable, and testable
  • Rapidly develop mock-ups and prototypes in Figma or similar tools to communicate design intent and user experience
  • Provide domain expertise to support solution design, process mapping, and decision-making during application development
  • Collaborate with Architects and Stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of high-value features
  • Drive iteration and continuous improvement based on feedback and evolving business needs

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Experience taking broad, ambiguous requirements and translating them into digital applications that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Experience in reimagining manual or disconnected supply chain processes into cohesive, automated workflows.
  • Experience in leading customer-facing sessions (workshops, discovery, demos) to uncover needs and co-create solutions
  • Experience defining application user experiences and workflows, without requiring detailed business instructions.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in sourcing or procurement with ability to educate peers and customers
  • Solid technical aptitude; able to understand architectural constraints and development impacts
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-starter with strong business acumen, creativity, and a bias for action
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain operations, consulting, or transformation initiatives with measurable results
  • Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into actionable software specifications
  • Hands-on experience creating low-to-high fidelity mockups
  • Experience working directly with application development teams in an Agile environment
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems and data challenges
  • Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of API integrations, data models, and digital transformation best practices
  • Ability to balance multiple stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain operations, consulting, or transformation initiatives with measurable results
  • Track record of designing new applications or tools
  • Strong UX design mindset, able to build intuitive workflows that align with user personas and supply chain roles.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
