Job Title: Staff Software Engineer (GenAI)

Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore

Business & Team: CTO - Cloud Modernisation

Impact &contribution: As a staff Engineer for Gen AI, you utilize advanced technical expertise of engineering principles and practices in Gen AI platform to achieve business outcomes. You provide core technology and domain expertise to support technical strategy of the crew and lead the solution design of complex challenges within Gen AI. Roles & responsibilities: As an experienced Staff Engineer who acts as technology leader, responsible for providing technical strategy and guidance, overseeing engineering projects of all kinds including AWS, Cloud Adoption, Migration Modernisation, end to end application design and understanding at enterprise level and good in domain understanding with proven expertise in Gen AI platform engineering and a passion for providing AI-driven solutions, you’re ahead of trends and work at the forefront of AI.

• Lead enterprise-wide Gen AI platform engineering initiatives, implementing LLM-based solutions for banking applications
• Architect cloud-native infrastructure on AWS for large-scale AI/ML deployments
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated model deployment and versioning
• Establish infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Develop knowledge engineering frameworks for domain-specific LLM applications
• Build scalable Gen AI platforms integrating multiple LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace)
• Established coding standards and review processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems
• Create automated testing frameworks for LLM-based applications
• Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using Python, PowerShell, and Shell scripting
• Implement GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
• Build monitoring solutions using CloudWatch, AppDynamics, and Grafana
• Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes

Essential skills:

• 12+ years of relevant work experience.
• Languages: Python, PowerShell, Shell
• Cloud: AWS (certified), Infrastructure as Code, CloudFormation, Terraform
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus Deploy
• Monitoring: CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS
• Gen AI: LLM Integration, Prompt Engineering, Vector Databases, Agentic framework (Strands, CrewAI, Langchain)

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
