What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a seasoned digital designer with a passion for crafting high-impact email campaigns and a strong eye for short-form video content. This role is primarily responsible for leading the design and execution of daily emails and broader email marketing initiatives—from concept to final delivery. In addition, the designer will support the creation of social-first videos optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
You bring strong layout and typography skills, an eye for storytelling, and a keen understanding of what drives engagement in the digital space. You thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and stay up to date on evolving trends. A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally are key to success in this role.

• Independently lead the design of branded email campaigns—from wireframes to final assets
• Partner with the Art Director as a strategic collaborator to evolve and maintain the brand’s digital visual identity
• Concept, storyboard and edit social-first video content for platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
• Partner with marketing and content teams to align creative with strategy and brand tone
• Deliver high-quality, pixel-perfect creative under tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment without close supervision
• Translate creative direction into performance-driven designs optimized for email and social
• Research and apply evolving practices in mobile-first email design and emerging social content trends, ensuring the brand remains at the forefront of digital innovation

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of professional digital design experience, with demonstrated authority in email design
• A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional email design and social video content
• Expert in Figma, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email production is a plus
• Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar
• Experience working with email service providers (ESPs) and knowledge of email performance metrics is a plus
• Retail or e-commerce experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in design, Visual Communications, or related field

CA Pay Range is $110,000 - $130,000 annually
