POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Director of FP&A will be responsible for overseeing all functions of FP&A. This individual will provide financial modeling & insight to the Leadership team on investment opportunities for a wide variety of strategic partnerships. Key responsibilities include overseeing the annual budget process for the company, reporting on organizational KPIs and Department metrics.
A successful individual in this role will bridge the gap between various internal & external finance functions. This role will oversee the hiring, development and mentoring of a team of future financial leaders needed to fuel company growth.

OBJECTIVES

Lead annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads and senior management to establish financial targets & KPIs

Develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts that incorporate historical data, trends and business drivers to provide accurate financial projections

Evaluate the financial impact of various strategic initiatives, investments and business opportunities

Work closely with SVP Finance & HR to maintain accurate headcount reporting

Prepare and present financial reports, departmental metrics and organizations KPIs
-
Collaborate with leadership team to develop department budgets & review monthly

Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess business performance and drive profitability

Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to produce weekly, monthly, annual and multi-year financial forecasts that drive results in support company objectives

Work with Accounting department to maintain the chart of accounts & ensure consistent reporting standards throughout the organization

Hire, train, develop & mentor a team of future financial professionals

Review and approve FP&A standard operating procedures

Present organizational financial concepts at public speaking events
COMPETENCIES

Demonstrate proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets

Understand functioning of the Corporate, SBU and Platform Review finance functions and how they impact one another

Ability to leverage financial metrics and performance to determine investment strategies

Possess expert knowledge of GAAP principles

Proven experience with financial planning and strategy

Excel at problem solving and can dig into complex and ambiguous data sets to provide accurate reports

Ability to understand and create complex financial models

Ability to analyze financial data and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows)

Advanced to expert level knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

At least 10 years’ experience in accounting and financial-management practices
