This role offers the opportunity to work remotely on key applications being redesigned for large-scale enterprise use. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of event-driven, microservices-based applications, leveraging modern technologies such as Spring Boot, Kubernetes, React, and message queuing systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Accountabilities
In this role, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using event-driven principles and microservices architecture

Implement backend services using Spring Boot and Spring JPA
-
Develop front-end features using React (and/or Angular) for responsive user interfaces

Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and manage deployment workflows

Integrate message queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
-
Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services
-
Troubleshoot technical challenges, propose solutions, and ensure high application performance
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in software engineering with a focus on event-driven design

Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and design patterns

Spring JPA experience

Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes

Front-end development experience using React or Angular
-
Experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ or Kafka)

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and Elastic search (a plus)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams
