Job Description

The Senior Utilities Program Manager leads the strategy, execution, and oversight of our utilities program. This role manages all relationships critical to the program’s success—including utility providers, third-party utility bill management partners, industry associations, trade allies, regulatory partners, and other external stakeholders.

This position also partners closely with Utility Rebates Program Manager to share updates and identify rebate opportunities, serving as the central knowledge source for all utility-related matters across the company. Additionally, the Senior Utilities Program Manager builds strong relationships with internal teams and field personnel to understand store operations, analyze cost and usage drivers, and align utility initiatives with broader efficiency and resource management programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of third-party Utility Bill Management services across all stores, distribution centers, and offices
• Manage utility rebate and incentive programs, including vendor oversight and invoicing
• Analyze utility data and provide actionable insights to Energy & Sustainability and Operations teams
• Develop and distribute regular reports for internal stakeholders
• Maintain and enhance the utilities database
• Build and manage relationships with utility vendors and partners
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Construction, Engineering, Accounting, and Finance on cross-functional initiatives
• Oversee new store utility setup and onboarding processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; focus in utilities, energy, or program management preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Access, VBA, SQL, and Power BI strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Prior utility industry experience a plus
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
