Architect the product-led engine that will scale our flagship AI shopping assistant to its first 10 million users.

At Demand.io, we're restoring humanity to the heart of commerce. We're a profitable, founder-led company building the truth layer for the $8.1T global commerce economy. We do this by architecting ShopGraph, the internet's most comprehensive, verified commerce knowledge graph, and intelligent agents like SimplyCodes and Product.ai that run on top of it.


We operate on a completely different model: a small, flat Special Forces unit of peers running on an AI-native operating system (AIOS). This isn't a traditional growth marketing role focused on ad spend. We're looking for a first-principles product leader to build our growth engine directly into the fabric of our flagship AI-native product, SimplyCodes.


Your Mission: Engineer Our Flywheel


Our goal is to make SimplyCodes the indispensable checkout companion for a generation of shoppers. To do that, we need to build a powerful, self-sustaining growth flywheel. We're not looking for someone to run a playbook; we're looking for a quantitative, systems-thinking builder to invent one. You will own the entire user lifecycle, from acquisition and activation to retention and referrals. Your mission is to:


  • Architect a Scalable Growth Model: Deconstruct our user journey and build a quantitative model of our growth loops.
  • Drive High-Velocity Experimentation: Build and operate a rigorous, data-driven experimentation system to continuously optimize the product for growth.
  • Build an Engine, Not Campaigns: Translate insights into in-product features that create compounding, durable growth, not one-off marketing campaigns.


How You'll Operate & Build


At Demand.io, context is the work . Your impact scales not by managing a budget, but by encoding your learnings into our AIOS so that the entire company operates with more leverage. Your core loop will be:


  • Engineer Growth Loops: You will personally design, spec, and ship in-product growth features like referral systems, viral sharing mechanics, and intelligent onboarding flows that drive compounding user growth.
  • Drive High-Velocity Experimentation: You will own and operate a rigorous A/B testing program, using our analytics stack to form data-driven hypotheses and rapidly iterate on the core user journey to improve activation and retention.
  • Architect Grounding Files: You will be the author of our growth playbook, codifying your strategies, models, and experiment results into grounding files that serve as the single source of truth for how we scale.
  • Orchestrate AI Systems: You will use AI as an analytical partner to sift through user data, identify patterns, and generate new hypotheses, dramatically accelerating your learning loop.
  • Compound the OS: You will own and deliver Outcomes, not just features, making our core operating system smarter with each system you ship.


What we're looking for


A product leader who thinks like an engineer and is obsessed with quantitative results.


  • A portfolio of shipped work and case studies that demonstrate your direct, measurable impact on key growth metrics (activation, retention, monetization, virality).
  • Deep quantitative and data-fluency. SQL proficiency is non-negotiable.
  • A first-principles thinker who builds growth models from scratch, not just applies generic formulas.
  • A "product-led growth" native who builds acquisition and retention mechanics into the user experience.
  • Comfort operating in a radically autonomous environment with a powerful bias for action and a relentless focus on shipping and learning.
  • Bonus if you are: An ex-founder or an early-stage leader from a high-growth B2C product company where you personally built the growth function from 0-to-1.

Compensation & Partnership


  • First Year Cash Comp: $250,000 - $320,000
  • Profit-Sharing Bonus (PSB): As a key strategic leader, you will be invited into our Partners Program. You receive a monthly, cash-based bonus tied directly to company revenue growth. This isn't hypothetical upside. For most high-performing Partners, the PSB adds 30-100%+ to annual cash compensation.
  • Equity: You'll receive a meaningful equity grant that reflects the role's seniority and critical importance, positioning you as a true owner in the long-term value you will help create.
