Senior/Lead Data Engineer (Palantir), N-iX, RO

We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, cloud-native data solutions with Palantir Foundry and eager to grow into a broader data architecture role. In this role, you will lead technical delivery of modern data platforms on Palantir, while working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade data systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Palantir Foundry solutions: data pipelines, ontologies, workflows, and operational applications
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms leveraging Palantir, cloud services (AWS, Azure), and modern engineering best practices
• Ensure quality through CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment pipelines in Foundry and supporting ecosystems
• Mentor and guide engineers: conduct reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices within Palantir and beyond
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to shape solution design, system integrations, and technology selection
• Translate business requirements into Palantir ontology models, transformation logic, and workflows
• Gradually take on architecture ownership for projects and support pre-sales with technical solutioning and effort estimates
• Partner with business users to clarify requirements, demonstrate value, and iterate deliverables
• Contribute to pre-sales activities: shaping proposals, presenting solution roadmaps, and providing technical insights on Palantir-based data platforms
• Stay current with Palantir product capabilities and broader data platform trends (Data Mesh, Lakehouse, real-time analytics, observability)
• Contribute to N-iX internal accelerators, reference architectures, and reusable Palantir delivery frameworks

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including design and delivery of production-grade solutions
• Strong experience with Palantir Foundry: ontology modeling, pipelines, transformation logic, and operational applications
• Proficiency with SQL and Python; experience with Spark or PySpark a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrating Palantir with external systems and services
• Knowledge of data engineering tools such as Airflow, dbt, Kafka, or similar is an advantage
• Proven track record building data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses, or streaming pipelines
• Familiarity with modern architecture concepts: Data Mesh, Data Fabric, cloud-native patterns
• Experience leading teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical excellence
• Strong communication and client engagement skills in English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel for client engagements when needed
