Your new role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong focus on Go (Golang) and modern frontends (TypeScript/Angular), you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing NFON’s cloud-based phone system. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable backend services, ensuring high availability and performance. Your contributions will directly impact our product's reliability and efficiency, empowering businesses across Europe. The work you‘ll do

• Design, develop and maintain backend services in Go and robust JSON REST APIsBuild and optimize modern frontends with TypeScript, Angular and testing frameworks
• Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems
• Define and implement test strategies to maintain high software quality
• Integrate services into our CI/CD pipeline and extend automation workflows
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, backend, DevOps, UI/UX, QA)
• Support deployment processes, including occasional out-of-hours assistance
• Contribute to a culture of clean code, continuous improvement and strong knowledge sharing

The qualifications you need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proven experience with Go (Golang) and strong backend engineering expertise
• Proven experience with modern frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript and Angular
• Strong understanding of REST, JSON, YAML, OpenAPI and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Passion for software architecture, clean code, testing and best practices
• Experience with API-Monitoring (Grafana/Prometheus) and CI/CD tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
• Strong communication skills in English and proactive problem-solving attitude
