Senior Automation Testing Analyst - Banking, coverletter.tech, RO

We are looking for an experienced Sr Automation Testing Analyst to join a delivery unit in the banking sector. You will work on developing digital lending solutions, collaborating with architects, developers, QA, and business analysis teams to transform requirements into scalable, functional applications.

Location: Bucharest, hybrid (2 days/week on-site)
Contract: B2B

Tasks

• Design, develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium and Playwright.
• Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) with Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI.
• Test web applications (Angular) and mobile applications (Android & iOS).
• Validate and troubleshoot API microservices, services and middleware modules.
• Collaborate with development teams in Agile/Scrum environments to ensure quality standards.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide detailed reporting.
• Work with SQL databases, Jira, Confluence, Kibana, and ELK for tracking and analysis.

Requirements

• achelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in defining, designing, and executing test scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, and Playwright for automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI.
• Experience testing web (Angular) and mobile applications (Android & iOS).
• Solid understanding of API microservices, services, and middleware.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, SQL, Kibana, and ELK stack.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Previous experience with banking or financial software is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
