Job Summary

The Senior Revenue Analyst is responsible for supporting the Accounting Department in managing revenue-related processes, ensuring accuracy in month-end close activities, client billing, and reconciliations. This role requires an experienced professional who can design and implement efficient revenue processes, troubleshoot client account issues, and assist in mentoring and training junior staff. The Senior Revenue Analyst plays a key role in maintaining compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence within the revenue cycle. 

Job Functions

• Prepare and post month-end close journal entries related to revenue. 

• Perform reconciliations of revenue accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. 

• Manage and process monthly client billing in an accurate and timely manner. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve client account issues related to revenue recognition and billing. 

• Design and improve revenue processes and procedures for the Accounting Department. 

• Assist in the training and development of junior staff members on revenue-related processes. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales and Operations. 

• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis. 

• Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. 

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental strategic goals. 

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited university. 

• 5–7 years of experience in revenue analysis and/or revenue operations. 

• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards (GAAP preferred). 

• Acute attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. 

• Proven ability to design and implement process improvements. 

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. 

• Desire for continuous self-improvement and professional development. 

• Ability to contribute to achieving team and departmental goals. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
