Job Summary: Echo Power is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead complex, mission-critical infrastructure projects in the healthcare and industrial sectors. This role requires expertise in overseeing multi-disciplinary construction activities, managing field teams and subcontractors, and ensuring successful project execution from preconstruction through commissioning. The Senior Construction Manager will collaborate closely with Engineers, Project Managers, and Site Representatives to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple job sites. This is primarily a field-based role with some remote work flexibility, and will require regular travel – averaging 70–80% onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead construction efforts across multiple job sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, project timelines, and budgets.
  • Act as the senior on-site authority for construction decision-making, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, Echo safety standards, and site-specific ICRA/containment requirements in coordination with site safety personnel.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to develop and manage detailed construction schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and provide critical path forecasting.
  • Oversee and ensure quality control for all construction activities, including materials inspections, submittal reviews, and installation verification.
  • Manage jobsite-specific budgets, forecasting, and cost tracking in collaboration with Project Management and Finance.
  • Conduct subcontractor scope reviews and lead preconstruction site walks and bid walkthroughs.
  • Develop and execute detailed Method of Procedures (MOPs) and Cutover Plans for critical systems integration and communicate plans clearly with hospital/facility leadership and stakeholders.
  • Represent Echo in meetings with client leadership, facility operations teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate jobsite documentation and reporting, including CMiC daily journals, safety logs, equipment tracking, and commissioning documentation.
  • Lead commissioning activities and ensure project turnover meets client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Drive continuous improvement across construction workflows and mentor junior construction staff toward growth and professional development.


Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, especially within healthcare or industrial construction environments.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional field teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience interfacing with clients, facility representatives, and executive teams.
  • Deep knowledge of construction safety, quality control procedures, and commissioning processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • High level of organization, documentation management, and attention to detail under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling and cost control; familiarity with Gantt charts and resource loading a plus.
  • Must be able to travel/be onsite at least 70-80% of the time.
  • Relevant computer skills: Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, data entry software (CMiC experience a plus)


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 7+ years of construction experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior site management capacity required.
  • Experience with healthcare or critical infrastructure projects strongly preferred.
  • NICET certification(s), PMP, OSHA30, or other relevant credentials preferred but not required.


Job Location: Our main office is located in Tennessee, but this is a hybrid position with most work being conducted in the field. Candidate should live within 1 hour of a commercial airport and be able to travel at least 70% of the time.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Salary: $111,000 – $139,000 annually (based on education, experience, and location)
  • Annual bonus up to 20% of base salary
