TITLE: Sales Manager (Northeast Territory)

REPORTS TO: Sales Director, Hospital

PRIMARY LOCATION : New York Metro Area


The Hospital Division of HALO is seeking a dynamic and confident professional with a proven track record of selling—preferably to medical professionals and RNs. While the primary targets are hospitals, there are also valuable opportunities to engage with laundry systems, departments of health, educators, and other government agencies. This individual will be responsible for calling directly on hospital locations as well as cultivating relationships with large health systems. HALO currently maintains a strong presence in birthing hospitals with a variety of safe sleep products and programs, and the mission is to increase revenue while strengthening our overall market position.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver annual revenue plan for region supported by accurate monthly forecasting.
  • Identify, prioritize, and secure new accounts to further hospital penetration objectives.
  • Build relationships with IDN’s to increase presence in most meaningful health systems.
  • Become an expert in safe sleep products and education to further the HALO mission.
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and ongoing revenue from partners.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance to over-deliver customer expectations.
  • Represent HALO at relevant national conferences and trade shows
  • Ability to cold call on existing and new accounts
  • Ability to support vendor form uploads for both new and existing accounts.
  • Partner with hospitals on capital budget requests & approvals to support purchasing decisions & drive adoption of HALO products.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably into hospitals, including national accounts.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth by securing new accounts and expanding existing ones through profitable sales strategies.
  • Strong system skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP, and CRM (HubSpot)
  • Flexibility and discipline to work virtually with a willingness to travel domestically up to 30% of the time
  • Ability to work independently in a lean, fast-paced organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a variety of individuals and audiences
  • Skilled in problem-solving, time management and prioritizing workload
  • Operates with a growth mindset and a “win together” mentality

Salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and incentive plan. The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $78,000-$85,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience.
