Overview

The Senior Vice President, Cloud Operations is a key executive leader responsible for the overall strategy, delivery, security, and performance of the company’s global cloud infrastructure and operations. This individual will drive operational excellence, ensure a highly available and resilient platform, and lead the evolution of the company’s cloud services to support innovation, scale, and customer success. The SVP will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Security, and Customer Success teams to deliver best-in-class solutions that meet enterprise-grade requirements while optimizing cost, performance, and user experience.

What You Will Be Doing

• Define and execute the global cloud operations strategy aligned with company goals.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing, globally distributed cloud operations team.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment with product roadmaps and business priorities.
• Own availability, performance, scalability, and cost optimization of all SaaS production and non-production environments
• Drive best-in-class practices for monitoring, incident response, SLAs/SLIs/SLOs, and service reliability across a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Ensure seamless delivery of software updates, feature rollouts, and infrastructure upgrades without customer disruption.
• Oversee cloud architecture, capacity planning, and lifecycle management across public and hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead modernization initiatives (automation, observability, FinOps, DevOps/SRE practices) to enable scalable SaaS delivery.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors to maintain a competitive edge.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, certifications, and customer commitments (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Partner with the CISO to manage cloud security posture and incident response readiness.
• Establish and track KPIs, SLAs, and OKRs to measure SaaS operational success.
• Serve as an executive sponsor for key customers, ensuring trust in the reliability and scalability of our SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Represent cloud operations at the executive level, board meetings, and industry forums
  
  
  

What Will Make You Successful

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in cloud operations, infrastructure, or related fields, with at least 7+ years at an executive or senior leadership level.
• Deep expertise in cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
• Proven track record managing mission-critical, large-scale, global cloud operations environments.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, SRE, automation, observability, and FinOps practices.
• Demonstrated success driving operational transformation, scaling teams, and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Strong executive presence, with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Based on individual states’ employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $280,800-$421,200 and eligible for benefits and bonus
