Supply Chain Planner (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled planner to join our Cloud Capacity Planning team, dedicated to providing support for critical regions. This role involves overseeing assigned areas to ensure that capacity needs are met while continuously monitoring the health of these regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, initiative, and collaborative skills to drive solutions and support business goals in a dynamic environment focused on cloud capacity planning.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor assigned regions to fulfill capacity needs and ensure overall health.
• Drive true-up and alignment for Excess DC capacity views.
• Perform daily checks on power feed and changes, ensuring accurate reclassification.
• Monitor preliminary consumption data, promptly flagging potential bottlenecks or issues.
• Collaborate closely with EG planners to execute priorities effectively.
• Coordinate with support teams and external stakeholders to resolve capacity issues.
• Make informed decisions based on guidelines and data, justifying them to stakeholders as needed.
• Prepare and distribute daily/weekly reports for stakeholders.
• Document troubleshooting steps and problem resolution processes.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and address underlying issues.
  
  

Requirements

• 5-7 years of proven experience in project management, capacity planning, or similar roles.
• Experience in supply chain management is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in data analytics with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Power BI (PBI).
• Advanced proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and Power Automate is a plus.

• Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid: 1 day/week Onsite)
• Duration: 9 Months
• Pay Range: $36.50 - $41.50 per hour
• Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
