Revenue & Strategy Analyst

Location: Remote with less than 15% travel required. Location East or Central Time zone preferably near a major airport.

Role Overview

As a Revenue & Strategy Analyst, you will support revenue management, acquisitions, operations, and accounting with a focus on driving revenue growth and operational efficiency across a portfolio of 20+ communities. Your initial priority will be optimizing revenue management processes, while also contributing to high-impact projects across the business.

Revenue Management (Primary)

• Own the daily operation of revenue management software, including predictive settings, feedback loops, and accuracy to market trends
• Utilize data to assess trends and alert leadership of potential risks and opportunities
• Support property management operations and leasing teams through oversight of renewal processes and administrative functions
• Support revenue growth efforts in alignment with business strategies through strong data analysis
• Build awareness of revenue objectives across the organization through curiosity and strong partnerships
• Identify and execute actionable revenue improvement initiatives
• Support revenue management inventory and pricing for a portfolio of 20+ multi-family assets
• Partner with operations leadership to identify and document needed policies and procedures, ensuring compliance

Strategic Projects (Secondary)

• Evaluate acquisition opportunities and develop business/cash flow models under the direction of executive management
• Research and develop models for operational improvements, commercial enhancements, and efficiencies from portfolio leverage
• Participate in projects requiring business modeling, analysis, research, vendor selection, consolidated portfolio analysis, and development of management presentations and investor relations materials

Operations & Reporting (Day-to-Day)

• Prepare reports and briefings for executive leadership
• Provide clear analysis of revenue performance and key operational trends
• Manage revenue management support ticket system
• Assist in day-to-day projects and assignments across departments
• Present findings and recommendations directly to executive management
• Provide administrative support and participate in special projects as needed

Who You Will Work With

• Report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer
• Assist the CEO and COO in projects across the business
• Work with all levels of the organization, from executive leadership to property-level operations teams

Expected Impact

• Consistent, accurate reporting and analysis on revenue performance
• Leadership visibility into portfolio risks, opportunities, and trends
• Operations staff leverage insights to identify and address areas of concern
• Revenue management practices and systems continuously refined and optimized

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analysis, economics, statistics, or equivalent experience (required)
• 3+ years’ experience with multi-family revenue management software platforms such as Yardi, RealPage AIRM, Entrata Revenue Intelligence (preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience in revenue management, data analysis, economics, statistics, or related role (preferred)
• Experience in multi-family operations or financial management (required)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
• Data visualization experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar (preferred)
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
