Project Manager – Construction & Field Operations
We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to oversee and deliver field-based construction projects in the Des Moines, IA area. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at organization, and communicates with clarity and impact. You’ll be responsible for leading projects from planning through execution, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
About The Role
As a Project Manager, you will coordinate with stakeholders, guide cross-functional teams, and manage budgets, timelines, and resources to achieve project objectives. You’ll take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, applying both technical expertise and leadership to drive success in complex construction environments.
Key Responsibilities

Lead projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and closeout.

Facilitate planning sessions with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and budgets.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Track progress against performance goals, providing clear updates to sponsors and stakeholders.

Assign and oversee project resources, offering guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

Resolve project issues collaboratively, leveraging creative problem-solving to maintain momentum.

Document lessons learned and share best practices to continuously improve project outcomes.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases to support decision-making and accountability.
What We’re Looking For

5–10 years of proven experience managing construction projects or field-based initiatives.

Hands-on experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Work Schedule & Compensation

Location: Des Moines, IA (onsite field role)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation: $50–$54 per hour, based on experience
