This is a full-time role for a Project Manager for both our Omaha , NE and Lincoln, NE offices.


The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, scope, schedule, and budget, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project deliverables are met in an engineering environment.


Coordinates and exercises functional authority for projects, including but not limited to proposals, schedules, budgets, designs, build, install / startup, and client follow-up. PM supervises, plans, and coordinates activities for multiple assigned engineering projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished. Reviews project design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. PM helps resolve engineering design and test problems.


Works with project personnel on specific phases or aspects of the project, such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing, in accordance with the engineering disciplines of staff. Responsible for producing completed projects with the available resources and within the constraints of time, cost, and technology.


Acts as a representative and communications focal point between HEI personnel, vendors, and the client. Additionally, the Project Manager will be involved in program and project management tasks on a day-to-day basis.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, or engineering
  • 5+ years' experience in engineering or construction or similar field
  • Analytical Skills and Communication
  • Program Management and Project Management
  • Team Leadership
  • Experience in technical project management preferred
  • Agile work experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Required at least a 2 year degree in related field plus 6 years experience
  • PMP preferred
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Initial and Annual Drug Screening
  • Must be U.S. citizen
