Project Manager

Location: Martinsburg, WV (Hybrid - expected onsite 4 days a week)

Reports To: Manager of Project Commercialization

Compensation: $50,000 – $80,000/year (commensurate with experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Project Manager to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage new customer and internal product development projects from concept through commercialization.

You will work cross-functionally with teams across R&D, Regulatory, Procurement, Operations, and Sales to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and customer goals.

Key Responsibilities

·        Project Management & Timeline Tracking

·        Lead commercialization of customer and Chem-Pak branded products across aerosol and liquid platforms

·        Manage project timelines, action items, and cross-functional updates

·        Identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities proactively

·        Product & Packaging Development

·        Coordinate artwork development, approvals, and print timelines for labels and cartons

·        Work with customers and design partners to deliver compliant, functional, and on-brand packaging

·        Formulation & Technical Coordination

·        Collaborate with R&D and technical teams on formulation development and testing schedules

·        Track critical milestones such as sample approvals, compatibility testing, and pilot runs

·        Cross-Functional Collaboration

·        Partner with Operations, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to align raw material procurement and production scheduling

·        Track budgets and support development of cost quotes when necessary

·        Systems & Process Improvement

·        Use project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) to drive visibility and accountability

·        Contribute to the continuous improvement of Chem-Pak’s commercialization processes

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, Packaging, Science, or related field preferred

·        0–8 years of experience in project coordination or commercialization, ideally within manufacturing, packaging, or CPG

·        Strong communication and organizational skills

·        Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting

·        Familiarity with product development, labeling, or packaging is a plus

·        Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) preferred
