Project Estimator / Senior Project Estimator, The Greenridge Group, CA, US

The Greenridge Group, a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management is seeking a Project Estimator / Senior Project Estimator to join our team. We deliver fully integrated Program management solutions to both public and private sector clients, including serving as the prime contractor for several public sector clients.

About the Role:

This role will plan, supervise, and prepare detailed cost estimates for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects. You will review and validate contractor and designer estimates, analyze change orders, and develop independent cost assessments to support negotiations and project delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of construction costs, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage the estimating process for complex, multi-million-dollar projects from concept to completion.

*Salary Range: $160K/Year-$200K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate initial and comprehensive detailed cost estimates for designated projects to assist the Project/Construction Manager in developing a negotiating strategy.
• Compile estimates for change orders to aid Management in formulating their negotiating stance.
• Assist in price negotiations and conduct analyses of claims.
• Prepare construction cost estimates based on provided drawings, specifications, and sketches.
• Assess the validity of contractor claims and proposals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
