Project Analyst
to join our talented, dynamic team.
In this role as a
Project Analyst
, you will be a vital part of the team supporting the VA. You'll work closely with the Program Manager to ensure that all projects strictly adhere to government regulations and standards. Your responsibilities will include documenting project requirements, with a particular emphasis on security controls and compliance frameworks such as those set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). You will also be responsible for monitoring project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and preparing detailed reports for stakeholders. Ultimately, your work will be critical in ensuring that projects stay on schedule, remain within budget, and consistently follow the federal government's stringent security and reporting protocols.

Duties
As a Program Analyst supporting Maveris programs, you will be trusted to support the Program Manager in various Programmatic activities. In this role, a typical day will include:

Manage full-cycle onboarding and offboarding for internal and subcontractor teams on awarded contracts, ensuring 100% compliance with all required documentation, VA requirements and federal protocols.

Develop and implemented standardized processes to create efficiencies and improve workflows for contract-related tasks.

Maintain and reported on compliance training by tracking and managing quarterly and annual training requirements for all team members.

Provide critical program support by assisting the Program Manager with the tracking, review, and on-time submission of all contractual deliverables.

Act as a primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, fostering professional and effective communication.

Utilize task management tools to streamline and oversee key project activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and deliverable completion

Develop and reported on key performance metrics, including implementations, Implementation completions, onboarding cycle time and document submission accuracy, to provide data-driven insights to the Program Manager.

Gather, analyze, and compile metrics for inclusion in the weekly deliverable.

Collect and consolidate statistical data for incorporation into the weekly deliverable.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in program management and cybersecurity.
Requirements
-
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Management, Communications, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field - equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

3+ years of experience as a program analyst, preferably in the IT or cybersecurity field.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and terminology.

Working knowledge of program/project management software (Microsoft Project, Jira, Microsoft 365/Teams applications, etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation
-
Proficiency with documentation tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, document management systems)

Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and subject matter experts
-
Strong organizational and time management skills
-
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in project management and documentation
