Product Developer - Mechanical Engineering, coverletter.tech, RO

We are recruiting for a leading system and solution provider in industrial sensor and automation technology, headquartered in Fulda.

Tasks

• Development of technical concepts, variants, and modules in coordination with other departments
• Creation of designs, simulations, calculations, and design proposals, as well as the selection of materials and manufacturing processes for customer solutions
• Preparation of technical drawings, assemblies, individual parts, and bills of materials, including data storage
• Supervision and maintenance of mechanical modules and designs throughout their entire lifecycle
• Calculation of project and component costs and preparation of feasibility analyses
• Preparation of documentation in accordance with guidelines
• Approval of documents
• Support for technical project management

Requirements

• Completed technical degree, e.g., in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Alternatively, completed technician training, e.g., in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Several years of professional experience (1-5 years)
• Independent and team-oriented working style, as well as analytical thinking
• Full working competence in Englisch and German language,
• Proficient in using MS Office applications
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar programs
• Experience with Infor AS400 or SAP is desirable
• Willingness to travel
• Analitical thinking and solution oriented
