Position Overview:

The company is seeking a Private Equity Associate from a Corporate Development / Project Finance background to join its Houston based investment team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated professional with in-house energy experience to gain direct exposure to buy-side transactions, and strategic growth initiatives, while working closely with senior leadership and external advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support evaluation and execution of acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financings
• Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis for energy projects and corporate transactions
• Perform industry and market research to identify new investment and development opportunities
• Prepare presentations and materials for senior management and external stakeholders
• Partner with internal teams and external advisors to support transaction structuring and negotiations
• Monitor financial performance of existing assets and projects, providing insights and recommendations for optimization

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2-5 years of professional experience in corporate development or project finance , with a focus on the energy sector
• Prior in-house energy industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
