As an HBM Design Architect, you will be responsible for supporting design and development of critical analog, mixed-signal, digital block and full chip level integration from physical design and layout design perspective! This includes creating floorplans that optimize circuit placement, signal routing, and power delivery, as well as deliver block-level layouts using advanced foundry process node. You will work with a highly innovative and motivated design team using groundbreaking memory technologies to develop the most advanced HBM products!

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for floor plans that optimize circuit placement, signal routing, and power delivery.

  • Deliver block-level (analog or mixed signal) layouts using advanced foundry process node if needed.

  • Collaborate with design architect on floorplanning, placement, and routing.

  • Have a good understanding of timing/area/power/complexity trade-offs in high-speed DRAM or mixed-signal design.

  • Contribute to the development of new HBM product opportunities by assisting with the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory, Logic, and Analog circuits.

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Expertise in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphic Calibre DRC/LVS

  • Good understanding of Analog Layout fundamentals (e.cg, Matching, Electro-migration, Latch-up, coupling, crosstalk, IR-drop, active and passive static device parasitic etc.)

  • Firsthand experience of crafting layout of analog and mixed signals such as sense amplifier, LDO, PLL etc.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • An initiative-taking, hardworking collaborator who enjoys working with others.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to other design and verification peers in verbal and written form.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in the Memory industry with an MS degree, or 7+ years with a BS degree or equivalent experience.

Job title and level can be scaled depending on experience and qualifications
