One of the largest ecological transformation companies is looking for a Power BI Developer / Data Analyst to join their Hybrid team in Paramus, NJ!

Our client is looking for a Power BI Developer / Data Analyst to join the team and support several ongoing projects. This role requires a hands-on professional who can go beyond dashboard creation to deliver technical, scalable, and business-driven data solutions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with many moving pieces.

Contract Duration: 6-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10 years of combined experience as a Data Analyst and/or Power BI Developer.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including advanced data modeling, DAX, and custom visual development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Microsoft Azure products.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Experience implementing and automating Row Level Security (RLS).

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI solutions with custom features and automation.
• Work with very large and complex datasets, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Implement and manage Row Level Security (RLS) within Power BI, including automation of RLS rules.
• Interface with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data models, reports, and actionable insights.
• Utilize Microsoft Fabric and Azure products to enhance data integration and reporting capabilities.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to support data transformation and reporting.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on best practices for data analytics and visualization.
