Overview
We are seeking experienced Medical Case Managers to oversee and manage personal injury cases within our medical practice. This role plays a key part in coordinating communication among patients, medical professionals, law firms, and funding companies—with a strong emphasis on medical billing expertise and familiarity with EMR systems such as AthenaHealth.

Serve as the primary point of contact between our medical team, patients, law firms, and funding companies.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to understand and manage the details of personal injury cases.

Manage and execute medical billing processes, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Handle requests from law firms and funding companies, including billing, medical reports, and case updates.

Monitor case progress and ensure adherence to medical and legal procedures.

Support the development and implementation of care plans for personal injury patients.

Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential patient records in accordance with privacy regulations.

Utilize EMR systems (e.g., AthenaHealth) to manage patient information and documentation.

Proven experience in medical case management, especially with personal injury cases.

Strong expertise in medical billing and a solid understanding of healthcare billing systems and claim workflows.

Experience using EMR platforms—AthenaHealth experience is a strong plus.

Solid understanding of medical terminology and healthcare operations.

Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.

Familiarity with legal and healthcare compliance practices is a plus.
