We are seeking experienced Medical Case Managers to oversee and manage personal injury cases within our medical practice. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between our medical team, patients, law firms, and funding companies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to understand and manage the details of personal injury cases.
  • Manage and execute medical billing processes, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle requests from law firms and funding companies, including billing, medical reports, and case updates.
  • Monitor case progress and ensure adherence to medical and legal procedures.
  • Support the development and implementation of care plans for personal injury patients.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential patient records in accordance with privacy regulations.
  • Utilize EMR systems (e.g., AthenaHealth) to manage patient information and documentation.
  • Proven experience in medical case management, especially with personal injury cases.
  • Strong expertise in medical billing and a solid understanding of healthcare billing systems and claim workflows.
  • Experience using EMR platforms—AthenaHealth experience is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology and healthcare operations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with legal and healthcare compliance practices is a plus.
