THE ROLE Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a/an Materials Quality Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. In this position the co-op will work to improve supplier performance related to quality, yield, on time delivery, and cost reduction projects. There will be opportunities to work on cross-functional teams across different product lines offered by Entegris. These activities will enable the co-op to develop problem solving skills and varied experience in the field. What You’ll Do Duties: – these will be trained as needed • Complete Quality Work Request forms that coordinate CMM and Optiv dimensional measurements, visual inspections, Rho Point gloss and haze measurement, Reflectivity, Ra (average surface roughness), and various testing through the quality department. • Download data from Camline and report process capability data, conduct bias study(s) between the supplier and Entegris measurements. • Review gage R&R analysis from the suppliers and FAIR analysis from supplier. MSA analysis will be trained as required. • Generate reports and charts from Camline, Minitab, and Excel. • Compare supplier process capability for dimensions to POR process using Equivalence testing, T Tests, Cp and Cpk, and bias analysis utilizing Minitab and Camline. • Learn to use Keyence surface analysis equipment including the VKX, and VR machines. • Resin qualification duties may also be required as directed. This could include downloading data from Camline. • Submit and coordinate supplier corrective action reports with suppliers using 8D format. • Track corrective actions in SAP. What We Seek • Student living or attending school in the Colorado Springs area is preferred • Attention to detail • Math skills - Ability to conduct base statics or be trained to use statical software. • Computer skills - Should include Word, Excel, and ability to learn Camline data collection software for data analysis and charting. • Knowledge or experience in reading blueprints and measuring parts • Chemical Lab experience Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year • Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering; Chemistry, Physics, or Math • Junior or Senior level student with an expected graduation in spring or fall 2026/2027 Eligibility • Must be a currently enrolled student • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June. • Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work in an office environment with some work required in ISO class 5 and 7 clean room.
