Overview
The Data Analytics Manager, Transactional Focus must be skilled and experienced in the management of employees, have a deep understanding of all transactional workflows and SOPs, be adept in delegating work, and be able to handle complex consulting work without oversight. Managers are adept in using a variety of tools, including Relativity, Brainspace, and Consilio proprietary tools and in synthesizing knowledge about such tools for DA employee development and continued education.

Essential Responsibilities:

Personnel Management
-
Support direct reports including 1x1s, mid-year and end of year reviews, facilitating, monitoring and tracking learning opportunities, managing time off and providing assistancefor coverage

Ensure colleagues uphold True North and DA Team Core Values; celebrate individual employee and group contributions and wins

Coordinate escalations related to work performed by direct reports

Assist with onboarding transactional employees

Own and co-own leadership/management initiatives

Work Product Management

Manage Ticket Board and oversee employees selected to assist in Ticket Board management

Coordinate ticket QC
-
Monitor ticket escalation and coordinate assignment of pertinent tickets; respond and engage to ticket related escalations
-
Track trends of ticket ownership and areas of expertise across transactional team

Lead adoption of new queue platforms such as Service Now
-
Work closely with Review and Project management teams to offer and hear feedback re: areas of improvement or efficiencies
-
Understand and consider the business impact of analytics transactional tasks
-
Exhibit deep understanding of Consilio DA services SOPs and be available to answer questions from team members and external teams
-
Work closely with transactional counterpart (Odin or Vali) to promote consistency of delivery, team training, round the clock handoff cycles, etc.

Manage complex consulting projects with minimal oversight
Additional Responsibilities/Details:

Display leadership and contribute to positive team culture

Attend and contribute to Team Lead and full team meetings
-
Take ownership of large-scale projects, from beginning to end including Technology Assisted Review projects
-
Communicate with clients and/or outside counsel to present analytics results, explore project needs, and formulate solutions to project issues
-
Display extensive knowledge on Relativity’s UI, and the concept, machine learning, and search capabilities for several tools
-
Advise Legal Review Team Lead on incorporation of transactional tools into workflows
-
Monitor, report, and interpret data trends to the Legal Review Team Lead and client’s legal team
Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirements:
-
J.D., Paralegal Certificate, or BS in relevant field Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Retrieval Sciences, among others), or equivalent

Extensive experience in people management, analytics workflows, and Relativity UI

Proven work experience in the eDiscovery industry

Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
