Job Title: Manager, People Operations

Location: Ocala, FL

Compensation: $58,000 – $75,000 Annually DOE

Target Start Date: October 15, 2025

Job Summary: The People Operations Manager will lead and oversee key human resources functions across iServ, serving as a trusted advisor to area leaders, managers and Team Members. This role partners closely with the Vice President of People Operations to design, implement, and manage HR programs that support iServ’s people-first culture, compliance obligations, and growth objectives. The manager provides leadership in areas such as employee relations, compliance, benefits, onboarding, learning & development, and performance management — ensuring consistency, fairness, and alignment with company values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary resource for managers on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, accommodations, and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with employment laws, labor posters, leave administration, and workplace policies.
  • Manage HR systems and processes, including onboarding, benefits administration, and personnel records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate and enhance training programs, including iServU and other development initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics (turnover, training compliance, leave usage, etc.), providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead People Ops communications across the organization through The HUB, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Finance to review and reconcile invoices for benefits and background checks.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives such as recognition and wellness programs, graduation celebrations, and Working Advantage incentives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide sound judgment and guidance in sensitive employee relations matters.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (Paycom experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

Desired Qualifications

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or higher) or pursuing.
  • Experience in multi-location or multi-brand hospitality/restaurant organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead HR projects and initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Strong skills in coaching, influencing, and building trust with leadership teams.

  • Occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 20 lbs.
