What’s in it for you?
- Base Salary: $36.00 - $40.00 hourly, depending on qualifications, education, and prior experience
- Schedule: Schedule: Monday – Friday + ability to participate in after after-hours emergency maintenance during scheduled on-call shifts
- On Call: After hour on-call schedule takes place across three apartment communities within a 10-mile radius. On-call duties shared among team members.

Job Description Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Blaisdell Apartments, a 151-unit affordable apartment community located in Minneapolis, MN. This position involves repairs and maintenance work that ensures the community meets the company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Investment Property Group in a positive and professional manner at all times
- Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing the source of the defect or problem, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements
- Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for new move-ins by scheduling vendors and contractors as needed, obtaining needed supplies and materials, completing all maintenance tasks, and inspecting completed work
- Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property’s maintenance department by tracking inventory used, returning unused items to the established location, and notifying the maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.
- Schedule staffing of maintenance staff and coordinate with Community Manager
- Train and monitor safe work practices and provide guidance to staff and scheduling training as necessary
- Assist with the inspection of the property and all common areas daily to detect maintenance problems that require attention
- Follow a preventative maintenance schedule
- Perform repairs and maintenance on vacant apartments to ensure property operating conditions and appearance upon move in
- Maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity and respect when interacting with residents, team members, vendors, and community stakeholders
- Routinely competes required reporting using property management software
