Logistics/Data Specialist (Contract) | CLIENT

Location: 100% onsite (1 day WFH after onboarding)

Position Overview:

CLIENT is seeking a Logistics/Data Specialist to support Plant 10 and Packaging operations. This role is responsible for planning, forecasting, and monitoring transportation and container management budgets , ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes, and driving efficiency across supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, track, and forecast transportation and container budgets.
• Implement and follow up on process penalties (debit notes) with suppliers and partners.
• Extract, validate, and analyze supplier invoices to prevent overpayments.
• Develop, analyze, and report KPIs, providing corrective actions when necessary.
• Prepare financial and risk analyses to support decision-making.
• Create and maintain regular/ad-hoc reports for management.
• Support onboarding and training of new associates.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, VPS, and OSHA requirements.
• Represent the department in cross-functional meetings and projects.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in IT, Business, or related field (or 4+ years equivalent experience).
• 3+ years in logistics, purchasing, or data analysis.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
