A nationally recognized complex litigation firm is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Support Specialist to join their collaborative team in New York City. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide critical support in high-stakes litigation while working in a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment.

You'll be part of a dedicated five-person support team, managing requests through a sophisticated ticketing system while delivering exceptional service to attorneys, paralegals, and directors. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional with advanced technical skills and a service-oriented mindset.

Core responsibilities will include

  • Edit and format sophisticated legal documents including briefs, motions, and complaints using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Kofax PDF editor
  • Draft initial correspondence, forms, and legal documents under attorney supervision
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management for attorneys
  • Arrange client consultations, hearings, depositions, and other critical proceedings
  • Manage travel logistics for attorney teams
  • Handle billable time entry and administrative responsibilities
  • Execute document production, scanning, and filing duties as requested
  • Provide backup reception support on a rotating basis

We're seeking candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience who demonstrate a proactive approach with superior written and verbal communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Word proficiency including styles, table of contents, tables, and troubleshooting capabilities is essential. Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PDF editing is required for consideration.
