Lead Fullstack Developer (Node + React), Interactivated Solutions Europe, NL

Remote (Europe preferred) | Full-Time | Long-term / Permanent

Interactivated Solutions is looking for an experienced Lead Fullstack Developer to join one of our international clients — a well-established European organization that hosts large-scale public events across the continent.

This is a foundational, long-term role: you will be the first member of the engineering team, responsible for architecting a new platform from scratch, then growing and leading the development team over time.

Tasks

• Architect and develop a modern platform to support high-volume operations and user interactions across Europe.
• Make key decisions about stack, scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate directly with business and product stakeholders.
• Build the initial MVP and lead the development of core features.
• Hire and lead a small, high-performing engineering team in the near future.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and scaling fullstack web applications.
• Prior experience in leading or mentoring developers.
• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort in a remote, async-first environment.
• Location in Europe or significant overlap with CET time zone preferred.

You should be confident working with:

• Node.js (Nest.js or Express)

• React

• MySQL / PostgreSQL

• Supabase

• AI development tools like Cursor, Jules, ClaudeCode or similar Git-based workflows, Docker, CI/CD pipelines

• English at B2/C1 level is a must
