This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and strategy of enterprise-scale software experiences that simplify complex workflows for users. The Lead UX Designer will be responsible for driving user-centered design across multiple products, from research and ideation through prototyping and implementation. You will collaborate closely with Product Management and cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive solutions that enhance usability and engagement. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on design skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about shaping impactful user experiences.
Accountabilities
As a Lead UX Designer, you will:

Conduct strategic research to understand user needs, motivations, and pain points across multiple products

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize problem spaces and design opportunities

Lead generative and evaluative research, synthesizing results into actionable insights
-
Create and iterate on design artifacts, including user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
-
Own workstreams from planning through design hand-off, post-release testing, and ongoing research
-
Advocate for the user experience across the product lifecycle, ensuring designs are intuitive, efficient, and aligned with business goals
Requirements
Candidates should possess:

7+ years of experience in UX, preferably in commercial software or enterprise environments

Strong expertise in UX research methodologies, design principles, and usability best practices

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, Miro, or equivalents

Excellent communication, facilitation, problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or equivalent practical experience

Ability to work remotely or from a company office

Desired but not required: experience in the insurance industry, familiarity with AI or machine learning technologies
