Junior Artificial Intelligence Engineer (In-House: Indianapolis)

About the Role

We are hiring a full-time, in-house AI Program Coordinator to oversee the setup, operation, and daily optimization of EliseAI - our conversational AI platform used for leasing and resident communication across 5,000+ units.

This is a junior-level role, ideal for a recent graduate in AI or a related technical field, who is looking for real-world experience managing AI systems in a fast-paced operations environment. You will work directly inside our Indianapolis office, collaborating with both the business team and our AI implementation partners.

What You Will Do

· Take ownership of our EliseAI system and oversee its rollout across leasing, resident support, and maintenance

· Monitor EliseAI's daily conversations with prospects and residents

· Identify and correct AI errors, edge cases, or unclear responses

· Interview department leads to understand their workflows and document them

· Help build and maintain knowledge bases for each property

· Escalate bugs or issues to EliseAI support when needed

· Track key metrics and keep internal records clean and updated

· Collaborate closely with our internal teams and external AI consultants

What We Are Looking For

· Recent graduate (or up to 2 years experience) in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar field

· Strong interest in AI platforms, chatbots, automation, and real-world deployment

· Attention to detail and ability to analyze communication flows

· Comfortable talking to different teams and asking questions

· Able to work on-site and take full ownership of the system

· You do not need property management experience; you will get support from our internal teams for that

Why This Role Matters

EliseAI interacts directly with our prospects and residents. While the system is powerful, it still needs human oversight. You will be the one holding the AI's hand, catching the cases where human judgment is needed, and making sure our digital agents stay aligned with how we run our business.
