Let’s start with the role

As a Junior Accountant, you will join our Accounting &Finance team. You will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Accounting department in alignment with the company's goals and policies.

What You'll Be Working On

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable
  and general ledger entries.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.

• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for.

• Respond to all vendor enquiries regarding ledger account balances;

• Communicate (internally and externally) with all related parties for
  the accounting issues.

• Ensure that financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner.

• Ensure compliance with finance-related policies, procedures, and tax-accounting standards.

• Liaise with Tax Authorities, intermediaries (banks, accountants, auditors).

• Continue to improve the accounting process.

• Assist in annual statutory audits.

• Assist with direct and indirect tax returns.

• Perform other accounting/finance duties as assigned.

• Ensure that all internal and external deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

• 0-3 years
  of experience in a relevant field, especially in double-entry bookkeeping system.

• Strong administration and accounting skills.

• Good knowledge of English.

• Knowledge of MS Excel skills.

• Eager to learn new things and take on additional tasks to support the team.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work within a team as well as independently with limited required direction.

• Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
