Jr. Finance Manager (m/f/d)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Finance Manager to support our regulatory and statistical reporting functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting (HGB/IFRS), tax compliance, and regulatory processes while contributing to process improvements. Basic Python skills are required to assist in automation and data analysis tasks.

Tasks

• Assist in preparing regulatory reports in compliance with CRR, KWG, and other banking regulations.
• Support daily monitoring of capital requirements (e.g., LCR, Leverage Ratio).
• Help optimize reporting processes and implement automation solutions using Python.
• Analyze regulatory changes and support senior team members in implementing adjustments.
• Collaborate with accounting and tax teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal queries related to regulatory reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in banking/finance (internships included); familiarity with regulatory reporting is a plus but not mandatory.
• Basic proficiency in Python (for data processing/automation).
• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of BAIS or other reporting tools is advantageous.
• Team player, eager to learn, and detail-oriented.
• Fluent in English and German (written/spoken).
