Jira Technical Administrator / Developer, Sword Services Greece S.A., GR

The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment supporting our business in developing solutions and leading the digital transformation of large European Public institutions & Private companies. What you will do...

• Configure Jira at the system level (custom fields, workflows, schemes, permission models).
• Develop and maintain REST API integrations with external systems (e.g., SM9, ForgeRock, ITSM tools).
• Implement and manage automation and scripting (ScriptRunner/Groovy, Jira Automation).
• Build and customize Jira portals/pages for user-facing services.
• Manage identity and access integration (ForgeRock/LDAP/SAML/SSO).
• Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements (logging, session policies, RBAC).
• Support development of custom Jira apps/plugins (Atlassian Forge, Atlassian SDK).

What is your experience...

• Proven experience in Jira administration at system level (not limited to project boards).
• Strong expertise in REST API architecture and design principles.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT, API tokens).
• Scripting and automation experience with ScriptRunner (Groovy scripting).
• Knowledge of ITSM processes and integrations (e.g., SM9/ServiceNow).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with ForgeRock or other identity management platforms.
• Experience with SAML/SSO integration beyond core authentication.
• Experience developing custom Jira apps/plugins using Atlassian Forge or Atlassian SDK.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred) for deployment and automation.
• Ability to perform basic Linux administration tasks and troubleshooting (use of the terminal, certificate management, log checks, service monitoring, etc.).
