NeoGenomics is looking for an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. Position Summary: The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is an office-based or remote position reporting to the VP, Commercial in the Pharma Services Division that sells NeoGenomics’ full portfolio of oncology diagnostic testing services to specialty and current Tier D customers. The ISR is responsible for contacting current customers or prospects via phone, email or teleconferencing to present NeoGenomics’ oncology diagnostic testing capabilities. The ISR is responsible for working on a designated account list and identifying new opportunities through cold calling, attending trade shows, or through mailing lists. The ISR must use approved tools and resources for product promotion that will be delivered through virtual platforms. Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement territory management and planning with VP, Commercial
  • Sell NeoGenomics’ products, develop new accounts, and/or proactively expand existing accounts
  • Engage with customers to identify expansion opportunities
  • Support corporate objectives and highlight the delivery of key selling messages and provide a high-level of service for customers
  • Provide account management, order facilitation and sales activities for assigned accounts
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of company products and services to align customer needs to NeoGenomics’ products
  • Analyze targeted accounts and develop recommendations to acquire their business through information collection, marketing initiatives, sales call cycle, etc.
  • Ensure all activities and opportunities are entered and tracked in Salesforce.com to allow increased visibility
Experience, Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or Life Sciences, or equivalent work experience required
  • 0-2 years’ experience preferred, including sales experience
  • Prior formal sales training courses a plus
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position preferred
  • Strong closing skills and business acumen
  • Skilled at persuasive techniques and negotiation
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of the organization
  • Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of clinical and/or laboratory market environment and products, preferably in oncology
  • Knowledge of clinical trial and assay development workflows
  • Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customers
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments
  • Proficient with MS Office programs
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to work in a biohazard environment and comply with safety policies and standards outlined in the Safety Manual
  • Valid driver’s license for state of residence required
Travel: Ability to travel as required by role (up to 10% of the time). Some overnight travel may be required.
